Whether it’s deciding what new products to bring into your space, where we’re sending objects you no longer want, or incorporating a bit more nature into the space, I add sustainability concepts throughout my organizing process. I’m on my own journey to be a more responsible consumer, and I’m constantly learning new things to help make the best choices for my clients.

Disposal

Items you no longer want or need can be donated, sold, recycled, or responsibly discarded. We’ll try to keep as much of it out of the landfill as we can. Having worked out of a household hazardous waste facility before, I understand responsible disposal, and thankfully there’s a lot of resources available to show us our options.

Products

There are a lot of products out there to “help” you get more organized but I always look at what’s already in your space. I like to think of the fourth “R” in “reduce, reuse, recycle” as “refuse”-- if you don’t need it, don’t take it. If it makes sense to purchase new items, let’s go for as little plastic as possible, and explore more sustainable options. It can be tough to navigate the realm of sustainability, but I can help.
